MOTD: DRAFT SITE - WORK IN PROGRESS - COMING SOON!
You are allowed 1 Supernatural PC of EITHER the Vampire type OR Second Inquisition type (for these purposes, all SI PCs are considered "supernatural" regardless of whether they use Arcane Arts or Special Weapons)
You are allowed as many Standard Mortals as you can reasonably essay.
You are allowed 1 Feature Mortal, so long as said PC does not create a Conflict of Interest with your Supernatural PC.
A relatively obscure rule in Cults of the Blood Gods allows characters with a bloodline Loresheet (at this point, just the various Hecata bloodlines) to purchase advantages from both their Bloodline loresheet and a metaplot loresheet - to make sure there's parity in applications, we're sticking to each character just having one loresheet. If you're playing a bloodline, you have the option of a bloodline discipline spread and the option to choose that bloodline's loresheet as your character's bit of plot from out of the list of available choices.
PC death will happen on our game. It should be viewed as an opportunity for personal growth, and to make a meaningful impact on our shared Story.
PC death will have lingering and/or persistent consequences on the Narrative as appropriate, played out by our Storytellers
If your PC dies from a Story event or an SPC while participating in a Chronicle, and you don't create OOC drama from the IC death, you will be eligible to carry over 3/4 of your accumulated XP to apply to a new PC.
All PvP will be Storyteller sanctioned.
If your PC dies in PvP, as the victim, and you don't create OOC drama from the IC death, you will be eligible to carry over 1/2 of your accumulated XP to apply to a new PC.
If your PC dies in PvP, as the aggressor, and you don't create OOC drama from the IC death, you will be eligible to carry over 1/4 of your accumulated XP to apply to a new PC.
OOC drama from the IC death results in 0 XP carry over to a new PC.
XP can be accumulated in game by your PC in a variety of ways:
XP for time spent online and IC on grid (aka time xp)
XP for RP with other PCs (aka +vote xp)
XP for attempting to unlock "achievement opportunities" located on grid - whether they result in success or failure (aka quest xp)
XP for participating in a Chronicle (aka ST xp)
XP for achieving a Personal Milestone, or supporting another PC's story while they achieve one of theirs (aka +nom xp)
